ngoing COVID-19 pandemic has negatively influenced everyone in the world and India has been no
exception. However, impact of the pandemic and it’s consequence, have been felt disproportionately
depending on one’s status in the society. Online studies and examinations, extended lockdowns,
Oworking from home, dependence on internet have become the new normal. Even in these gloomy
circumstances over the past year, the energy and drive exhibited by students’, faculty, alumni and non-teaching staff
of Acharya Narendra Dev College have been a beacon of hope. This year’s Annual Report is all about capturing this
very dynamic quality and positive energy exhibited by the aforementioned stakeholders. Many a times, student’s
own kitchen was turned into a laboratory. In addition following the safety guidelines for Covid-19, students
created their own virtual lab experiments in the college that could be demonstrated to their outstation batch mates
and was added to our collection of virtual lab experiment library.

During the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, NSS Volunteers worked round the clock to reach out

resources and helped around 100 patients, tele-consultation with verified doctors, providing ration kits, organizing
yoga series, plantation drives, project wellness to spread awareness on mental health issues like depression,
loneliness, aggression, which arose due to the ongoing pandemic.

The college continues to be recognized amongst the Best Science Colleges of India (18 rank in India Today
