Dawn Crept Over Me

Twishi Mishra, B. Sc. (H) Zoology, I Year

I woke up another morning, To find a new way
No ounce of sunlight nor of darkness, Between light and darkness.

Dawn crept over me! And asked me to begin, Dawn crept over me!
Said no signs are required And told me to embrace differences,
When it all comes from within. To look deep inside the heart
And not on the outer appearances.

Dawn crept over me! Soaking in the shower,
Like the illumination of hope, Dawn crept over me! And took a sigh of relief, I felt her leaving my body.
And said, never give up Said it’s all up to you
My chest filled with the first breath of light headed-
‘Cause there will always be scope. And your belief. Anjali Bhadana , B. Sc. (H) ness

From all the mistakes I fret over I wish for tomorrow’s dawn to greet and
Brushed my cheeks, I remember it clearly,
 But never really witness. rise.
I looked right into the eyes of the great sky. The day I decided to let go of my grief and past
Dawn crept over me! Clouds rumbled at my gaze; My old self left my body.
