1. Best Student Silver Jubilee Award An award of Rs 10,000 was instituted in 2016, to commemorate the Silver Jubilee Year of the College, for the Best All Round Student of the Year. This prize is awarded to a final year student who is meritorious, actively participates in various committees of the college, contributes towards research, and wins prizes/ awards for the College. All ANDC students are eligible for this scholarship.
2. Sh. Sultan Chand Endowment Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student of B.Com (H) III Year who secures the second highest percentage of marks in the college in B.Com (H) II Year University examination. The amount of scholarship is Rs 3,500.
3. Dr. (Ms.) Usha Aggarwal Tejaswini Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the student of B.Com (H) III Semester who has secured highest percentage of marks in the college in the University examination for II Semester. There are three such fellowships worth Rs. 3,500 each.
4. Ms. Teena Gupta Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was instituted in the year 2006-07 in the memory of Ms. Teena Gupta, an alumnus of the Department of Electronics from the College and faculty in the Department of Computer Science who passed away at an early age. There are six such fellowships worth Rs. 6,000/- each and are awarded to needy cum deserving students of B.Sc. (H) Electronics and B.Sc. Physical Sciences (Computer Science).
5. D. C. Arora Scholarship
This fellowship is awarded in two categories, needy and meritorious. Each of these categories comprises of 2 scholarships of Rs 6,000 each to the students of science courses.
6. Pushpa Paul Memorial Scholarship
The fellowship is for two meritorious girl students with a vision for the future. Under this fellowship, Rs 15,000 is given to the selected students.
7. Abhinav Halen Scholarship Fund
It is a matter of great pride for the College that Mr Abhinav Halen, a student of the first batch of B.Sc. (H) Electronics at Acharya Narendra Dev College has instituted two annual Abhinav Halen Scholarships of Rs. 15,000 each, for needy students of the Department of Electronics (academic session 2016-17 onwards). To avail this fellowship, proof of low family income is a must.
8. Krishna Toteja Memorial Scholarship
The fellowship was started from the academic session 2016-17 by a faculty member, Dr Ravi Toteja, in the memory of his mother. One fellowship of Rs. 6,000 per year is awarded to a meritorious and needy girl student of B.Sc. (H) Zoology. To avail this fellowship, proof of low family income is a must.
9. Asha Walia Scholarship
Dr Seema Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry of the college has donated Rs. 1,00,000 for the institution of a scholarship of Rs. 6,000 in her Mother’s name. The Fund called ‘Asha Walia Memorial Scholarship’ has been created for this. The scholarship to be awarded from the accrued annual interest. Students of B.Sc. Life Science with a low family income are eligible for the reward of this fellowship. To avail this fellowship, proof of low family income is a must.
10. Urmil Gupta Scholarship
Dr Seema Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry of the college has donated Rs. 1,00,000 to the institution for a scholarship of Rs. 6,000 in her Mother-in-law’s name. The Fund called ‘Urmil Gupta Memorial Scholarship’ has been created for this. The scholarship to be awarded from the accrued annual interest. Students of B.Sc. (H) Chemistry with a low family income are eligible for the reward of this fellowship. To avail this fellowship, proof of low family income is a must.
11. Award to “Topper Meritorious Students studying in GNCTD funded Colleges”
The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of NCT of Delhi rewards the toppers from Delhi Government funded colleges of University of Delhi. The amount of this fellowship is Rs. 10,000 and all ANDC students are eligible for this.
12. Dr Saumya Saxena Memorial Scholarship
Dr Saumya Saxena, our beloved colleague from Botany department passed away on March 23, 2017. In her memory, her husband Dr. Harsh Kumar has instituted a fund which would be used to award a scholarship of Rs 10,000 to a meritorious and needy girl candidate from B.Sc. (H) Botany. To avail this fellowship, proof of low family income is a must.
13. Professor Savithri Singh Award for Best UG Researcher
This fellowship/Scholarship instituted by our Ex-Principal Prof. Savithri Singh after her retirement for best student researcher with the sole purpose of encouraging research among UG students. The award is Rs 10,000 per annum plus a contingency research grant of Rs 2,000 per annum. All ANDC students are eligible for this award.
14. श्रद्धांजलि: Dr Saumya Saxena Students Endowment Scholarship
The Alumni of B. Sc. (H) Botany has created a scholarship fund in the honour of their beloved teacher Dr Saumya Saxena who passed away on March 23, 2017. This endowment scholarship is being created through voluntary contribution made by students whom Dr Saumya Saxena had taught in the previous years. The fund is called as Dr Saumya Saxena Students Endowment fund with name of the scholarship as “श्रद्धांजलि: Dr Saumya Saxena Students Endowment Scholarship”. The interest earned shall be used for awarding two scholarships worth Rs. 6,000 each every year for students of B. Sc. (H) Botany. The scholarships will be need-cum-merit: one for the second year student (based on need and the first year performance) and one for the third year student (based on need and the second year performance).
